President's Message

Dear SF/AGA Members,

As the SF/AGA enters its eighty-first season we look forward to another great year of golf, good fellowship and plenty of good times.

2008 was a terrific year, and we enjoyed a variety of great courses, including Claremont, Sequoyah, Castlewood, and culminating in the overnight getaway to Saddle Creek.  As we prepare the schedule for 2009 we plan on more of the same.

Every year we send a team to the National Advertising Golf Association’s annual tournament, and though in 2008 at Horseshoe Bay we improved our standing over the previous year, we were unable to bring home the crystal.  The team selection is based on participation in the monthly tournaments, as well as bringing guests and new members.  So make sure you sign up and bring your friends and colleagues to the tournaments, as this year we will be revisiting one of the favorite venues, Pinehurst.

In light of the current economic situation we are lowering the cost for membership in 2009 to $125, even greater incentive to join and bring in new members.

The SF/AGA is one of those wonderful organizations where men and women who genuinely love the game of golf get together once a month for a fun bit of competition and prizes, but more importantly, the chance to spend time with great folks, enjoy a glass, some good food, and lots of laughter.

I look forward to seeing you all out on the course for another year of fun golf on some great tracks.
