Welcome to the San Francisco Advertising Golf Association (AGA).

Founded in 1928, the San Francisco Advertising Golf Association is an associate club of the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA). From March to October, our members and their guests play monthly tournaments at top country clubs around the Bay Area.

Our tournaments are held monthly on weekdays and include green fees, box lunch, dinner and outstanding prizes. Members may bring guests to every tournament (in fact, we encourage you to do so).

We welcome men and women golfers of all skill levels. Each tournament is flighted "A" Flight (0 - 18 handicaps), and "B" Flight (19+ handicaps).

Because we are an Associate Club of the NCGA, an AGA member receives a GHIN number and handicap index you can use anywhere you play golf.

AGA members receive a monthly update of their index and have access to NCGA-operated golf facilities, i.e., Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge. We also participate in NCGA events, sending our top qualifiers to compete against other NCGA club members.

The San Francisco AGA is one of twelve National Advertising Golf Associations (NAGA) chapters around the United States. Each year, NAGA stages a national tournament and the SF AGA sends a 4-person team to compete in this event. See the NAGA page on this site for more information.
